Princeton, N.J. & Elstree, England – May 3, 2010 — Infragistics, a world leader in User Interface (UI) development tools and experts in the User Experience (UX) market, announced today two editions of TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2010 Volume 1, the first out-of-the-box testing tool specifically for the application user interface.
TestAdvantage is a collection of custom libraries that enables automated testing of the application UI. With two versions, TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) and TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for IBM Rational Functional Tester), testers can fully regression test Windows Forms applications with user interfaces developed using Infragistics NetAdvantage® Windows Forms controls.
"We recognized the value of automated UI testing early on and launched TestAdvantage in 2005. By teaming up with HP and IBM Rational, we've provided testers with the means to extend best practices in application development lifecycle to the UI," said Andrew Flick, group product manager at Infragistics. "With TestAdvantage, application development teams experience greater productivity and profitability from the improved user experience."
